Such a great friendly team who were quite welcoming and polite. The food was of a substantial variety and everything I devoured was delicious very pleasing to my palate....
Catfish dinner is the best I've had in Delaware. Green beans and collard greens are delicious. Price is right and service is efficient and quick (I get take out).
Came here for my lunch break today as I was recommended to come here by a coworker of mine. Came in and the restaurant smelled AMAZING! I knew the food would be good! I ordered 3 chicken wings with the sides of Mac and cheese and collard greens. I should have taken a pic beforehand but I couldn't manage to wait. I 100% recommend this place! The food was BOMB!!!! Love love love it Customer service was amazing as well! Get you some!

Despite the reviews, I decided to visit- I'm happy I did! I got the fried wings, cabbage and Mac & cheese! I had a 30min drive home, the wings were still crispy, well seasoned (not salty as some ppl would think makes a wing good), the cabbage was PERFECT!!! I wish I'd had more mac, the portion was a little small, but delicious!
Service was really good, everyone greeted us when we came in. Food was really good as well, we wanted soul food and found this spot. Really glad the food has FLAVOR and wasn't just full of sauce and salt. So many confuse that with flavor so I really really satisfied with the wings and collard greens (I do wish I had my Turkey meat in mine) but the flavor was *chefs kiss* my wife had fried chicken mac and cabbage, I didn't get to try her chicken but she loved it and the sides were good too. The cabbage could use a pinch more seasoning but it was still good.
Didn't see many healthy options, but macaroni- Yum! lol. There was some invisible tension at a nearby place that I was at So, I opted to eat here outside of another place.
I saw some of the bad reviews, and eh..... I liked it. Its not supposed to be a fancy restaurant where everything is perfect. Its comfort food, and I needed comfort. The fried whiting was decent, and the collards had a lil kick to them. If anyone out there doing it better in their kitchen, hit me up, make me a plate, and let me give it a try.....lol
